About Intellectual Vagabond

Greetings and welcome to Intellectual Vagabond.

* Intellect: n. the faculty of reasoning and understanding objectively.

* Vagabond: n. having no settled home.

Intellectual Vagabond – the Great Escape from Babylondon, is essentially the real-life story of a young man’s journey along an unfamiliar path; one that neither his education nor his experiences had prepared him for. Yet his resilience in the face of adversity is ever present, and the importance placed on perseverance is made quite clear.

The author aims to lead by example by frankly admitting mistakes and providing clear insight into the valuable lessons learnt along the way. Issues surrounding immigration problems, high tuition fees and visionless government bodies are dealt with in creative detail, along with a vivid description of the environmental backdrop that has shaped him into the Intellectual Vagabond that he is today.

This is a well written, entertaining, and truly eventful story – one that is not unique to any individual, but lies within all of us. The ability to express our thoughts and articulate our trials so we no longer suffer in silence, should be encouraged and practised, and Intellectual Vagabond has taken us in that direction

The concept of an "Intellectual Vagabond", came from the idea that as a vagabond has no settled home, he or she has no allegiance to any particular location, but rather their time, efforts and skills are dedicated to people in need of a helping hand, and places where their knowledge and expertise can have the greatest impact in improving the lives of a wider community.

Similar to the idea of a traveller applying his or her trade in exchange for room and board along their journey, so does the Intellectual Vagabond utilise their specialist knowledge, be it food science, health and disease, environmental management, housing and development, or any other skill or idea that can bring a positive change in the lives of millions of people with no one else to turn to.
